Nice to Bastia is the quickest crossing from the French Riviera to northern Corsica, run mainly as a fast daytime ferry in the warmer months. Bastia is the island's main northern gateway, close to Cap Corse and the beaches of the east coast. From Nice it is short enough to cross and still have most of the day on the island.
